Yellow rainfall warning hoisted over Cagayan, two other areas

(Eagle News)–A yellow rainfall warning has been hoisted over Cagayan and two other areas.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the alert, due to Severe Tropical Storm “Tisoy” and the northeast monsoon, is also up over Apayao and San Maria,San Pablo, Delfin Albano,Maconacon,Ilagan and Cabagan in Isabela, which means flooding in flood-prone areas is expected.

Light to moderate rains are so far being experienced over Camiguin Island; Fuga Island; Tineg in Abra; Adams, Banna, Badoc, BatacCity, Carasi, Dingras, Pagudpud, Paoay, Piddig, Pinili, Sarrat and Vintar in Ilocos Norte; Alicia, Angadanan, Benito Soliven, Cauayan, Dinapigue, Echague, Gamu, Jones, Luna, Mallig, Naguilian, Palanan, Quezon, Quirino, ReinaMercedes, Roxas, SanAgustin, San Guillermo, San Manuel and San Mariano in Isabela;), and Natonin and Paracelis.

PAGASA said these conditions may persist for two to three hours.
