(Eagle News)–Trips of vessels and motorbancas from Caticlan Jetty Port to three areas have been cancelled.
The Philippine Coast Guard in Aklan said the cancellation of trips to Batangas, Romblon, Mindoro, and Boracay Island was due to the inclement weather brought by “Tisoy.”
“The trips will resume when the weather condition becomes normal, as may be declared by (the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration),” the Coast Guard said.
“The public and fishermen are advised not to engage in any water-related activity to prevent untoward incidents,” it added.
“Tisoy” has landed in Marinduque and is heading towards the Batangas-northern Oriental Mindoro area.
