Immigration bureau temporarily stops issuing tourist visas on arrival to Chinese nationals

(Eagle News) — The Bureau of Immigration will temporarily stop issuing tourist visas on arrival to Chinese nationals, the Bureau of Immigration said on Tuesday, Jan. 28. Duterte appoints former military chief Madrigal to PCA board

(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed former Armed Forces of the Philippines chief Benjamin Madrigal Jr. as a member of the Philippine Coconut Authority governing board. Madrigal’s appointment paper was signed on Jan. 21. Madrigal’s appointment came less than four months after he retired from the service. He retired in September 2019 after reaching the mandatory age of retirement of 56.
