Senior Citizens Party-list Rep. Jun Datol passes away

(Eagle News)–Senior Citizens Party-list Rep. Jun Datol has passed away. House Secretary General Jose Luis Montales confirmed the congressman’s passing “a few hours ago” on Monday, Aug. 10. Montales did not cite a cause of death. “We will give you the details as soon as we receive them,” he said. Datol was also chair of the House committee on senior citizens’ affairs.  

TD “Ferdie” likely to exit PAR this morning; monsoon rains in parts of PHL expected

Senator Revilla tests positive for COVID-19

DFA: 143 Filipinos recently repatriated from S. Korea

(Eagle News)–The Department of Health on Saturday, Aug. 8, reported an additional 4226 COVID-19 cases in the country, marking the tenth consecutive day the agency reports over 3000 additional COVID-19 cases.
