PNP: 25,357 cops promoted nationwide

(Eagle News) — Twenty-three more police personnel have recovered from COVID-19. The Philippine National Police said the additional recoveries pushed the PNP recovery total to 9044. Forty-two additional cases, however, pushed the PNP COVID-19 total to 9464. Of these, 392 were active. No additional COVID-19 deaths were reported among the police, which means the death toll remains at 28. Immigration bureau: 120,438 queries attended to in 2020

(Eagle News) — The Bureau of Immigration attended to over 120,000 queries from travelers last year. In a statement, Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said the 120,438 queries it received via its hotline, email, and social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram were an increase of 141 percent from the total queries the bureau’s National Operations Center received in 2019. Customs bureau says it raised P1.2 billion in additional revenues for 2020 through post-clearance efforts

(Eagle News) — Thirty-seven more police personnel have recovered from COVID-19. The Philippine National Police said with the additional recoveries, the PNP COVID-19 recovery tally rose to 8981.
