SWS: Hunger rate in December 2019 lowest in 15 years

(Eagle News)–The percentage  of Filipino families who experienced involuntary hunger in December 2019 dropped to 8.8 percent, the lowest in 15 years, a Social Weather Stations survey found. 4.2-magnitude quake hits Ilocos Norte

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude quake struck Ilocos Norte on Saturday, Jan. 25. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 5:08 a.m., had its epicenter 15 kilometers northeast of Carasi. It had a depth of focus of one kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
