4.2-magnitude quake hits Ilocos Norte

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude quake struck Ilocos Norte on Saturday, Jan. 25.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 5:08 a.m., had its epicenter 15 kilometers northeast of Carasi.

It had a depth of focus of one kilometer.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
