(Eagle News) — Six Philippine Health Insurance Corporation regional officers have filed their leaves amid the ongoing probes into alleged corruption in the state insurer. DFA: 53 more Filipinos from Thailand return to PHL

(Eagle News) –Fifty-three more Filipinos from Thailand have returned to the Philippines recently. According to the department, the Filipinos left Bangkok via a Philippine Airlines flight on Aug. 15. DFA: Over 135,000 Filipinos repatriated amid COVID-19 pandemic

(Eagle News)-The Department of Foreign Affairs has said it has repatriated over 135,000 overseas Filipinos amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The DFA said the total 135,290 was after an additional 10,573 overseas Filipinos were brought home this week. Of the total, 38.9 percent (52,639 overseas Filipinos) were sea-based while 61.1 percent (82,651 overseas Filipinos) were land-based. Creation of online repository of PHL laws for use by all Filipinos proposed

DOH announces 4,351 additional COVID-19 cases in PHL, bringing total to 157,918

(Eagle News)–The number of coronavirus disease 2019 cases in the country breached the 157,000 mark on Saturday, Aug. 15, after the Department of Health reported 4351 cases on the same day. The DOH said of the total 156,918 total cases, 83,109 were active, of which 91 percent were mild, 7.5 percent asymptomatic, 0.6 percent severe, and 0.9 percent critical. Immigration bureau: Foreign spouses of Filipinos may enter PHL if they have valid visas, certificate of registration identity cards
