Army colonel is next PSG commander

(Eagle News) — An Army colonel is slated to be the next commander of the Presidential Security Group. The Palace on Monday, Feb. 24, said President Rodrigo Duterte chose Colonel Jesus Durante to lead the PSG in charge of the President’s security. Durante will replace  Brigadier General Jose Eriel Niembra. A change of command ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
