3.7-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)-A 3.7-magnitude quake hit Davao Occidental on Thursday, Dec. 26. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 74 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 4:45 a.m. Depth of focus was 70 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.2-magnitude quake hits Sultan Kudarat

(Eagle News)-A 3.2-magnitude earthquake hit Sultan Kudarat on Wednesday, Dec. 25. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 13 kilometers southeast of Columbio at 6:56 p.m. Depth of focus was 17 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.1-magnitude quake hits Occidental Mindoro

(Eagle News)-A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Occidental Mindoro on Tuesday, Dec. 24. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 80 kilometers southhwest of Looc at 2:34 a.m. Depth of focus was 22 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.2-magnitude quake hits Maguindanao

(Eagle News)–A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Maguindanao on Monday, Dec. 23. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 8 kilometers southeast of Buluan at 5:22 a.m. Depth or focus was 23 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.3-magnitude quake hits Sarangani

(Eagle News)-A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Sarangani on Sunday, Dec. 22. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 15 kilometers northwest of Malungon (Sarangani) at 5:28 a.m. Depth of focus was 34 kilometers. 3.5-magnitude quake jolts Maguindanao

(Eagle News)-A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Maguindanao on Saturday, Dec. 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 8 kilometers southeast of Buluan at 4:48 a.m. Depth of focus was 26 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)-A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Mindanao on Friday, Dec. 20. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the epicenter of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 6 kilometers northwest of Kibawan. (Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Davao del Sur on Friday, Dec. 20. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 2 kilometers northwest of Kiblawan at 11:45 a.m. Depth of focus was 4 kilometers. The following instrumental intensities were recorded: Instrumental Intensities: Intensity II- Malungon, Sarangani Intensity I- Kidapawan City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.0-magnitude quake hits Zamboanga del Norte

(Eagle News)-A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Zamboanga del Norte early Friday, Dec. 20. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit Gutalac at 12:05 a.m. Depth of focus was 120 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.4-magnitude quake hits Davao del Sur

(Eagle News) — A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Davao del Sur on Thursday, Dec. 19. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 6 kilometers southwest of Sulop at 8:01 a.m. Depth of focus was 7 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

Death toll from Davao del Sur earthquake rises to 11

(Eagle News) — The death toll in the 6.9-magnitude quake that hit Mindanao on Sunday has risen to 11, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said. According to the NDRRMC, of the 11,  10 were recorded in Region XI while one was  recorded in Region XII. The number of those injured was at 111, the NDRRMC said.
