(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Cagayan early Wednesday, Dec. 25.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 42 kilometers northwest of Claveria at 12:48 a.m.
Depth of focus was 10 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
