(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas on Saturday, January 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 6:48 a.m., had its epicenter 12 kilometers southwest of Calatagan. It had a depth of 135 kilometers. The following instrumental intensities were reported: Intensity I – Calatagan, Batangas; Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro; Plaridel, Bulacan No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Zamboanga del Norte early Friday, January 8. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 12:47 a.m., had its epicenter 37 kilometers northwest of Siocon. It had a depth of 33 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Wednesday, January 6. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 1:43 a.m., had its epicenter 44 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso. It had a depth of 143 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.2-magnitude quake hits Bohol early Wednesday, December 30

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Bohol early Wednesday, December 30. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 2:43 a.m., had its epicenter 25 kilometers southeast of Lila. It had a depth of 540 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
