4.2-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental early Wednesday

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Wednesday, January 6.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 1:43 a.m., had its epicenter 44 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso.

It had a depth of 143 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
