(Eagle News) — A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Thursday, April 7. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 5:52 p.m. The epicenter was 21 kilometers southeast of Don Marcelino. The depth of focus was 154 kilometers. The following instrumental intensity was reported: Intensity I – General Santos City No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.5-magnitude earthquake strikes off Eastern Samar early Wednesday

(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Eastern Samar early Wednesday, April 6. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 1:01 a.m. The epicenter was 29 kilometers northeast of Hernani. The following instrumental intensities were reported: Intensity II – Catbalogan City, Samar Intensity I – Abuyog, Alangalang and Palo, Leyte No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake struck at 4:41 p.m. The epicenter was 19 kilometers northeast of Hernani. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 8:52 a.m. The epicenter was 162 kilometers of Jose Abad Santos. The depth of focus was 107 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
