(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Thursday, Aug. 22. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 28 kilometers southeast of Tarragona at 6:30 a.m. Depth of focus of the quake was 5 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

JUST IN: 4.0-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Wednesday, Aug. 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 133 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 8:02 a.m. Depth of focus was 138 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.2-magnitude quake hits Batangas

(Eagle News)–A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas early Tuesday, Aug. 20. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 4 kilometers northwest of Cuenca at 2:26 a.m. Depth of focus was 28 kilometers. The following instrumental intensities were recorded: Intensity III- Talisay, Batangas Intensity II- Tagaytay City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.0-magnitude quake hits Batangas

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas on Monday, Aug. 19. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 18 kilometers southwest of Calatagan at 10:55 a.m. Depth of focus was 114 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.0-magnitude quake hits N. Samar

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Northern Samar early Sunday, Aug. 18. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 77 kilometers northeast of Palapag at 5:09 a.m Depth of focus was 13 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake hits Pangasinan

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Pangasinan early Friday, Aug. 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 31 kilometers northwest of Bolinao at 3:35 a.m. Depth of focus was 19 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

JUST IN: 3.1-magnitude quake jolts Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Thursday, Aug. 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 63 kilometers northeast of Burgos at 9:18 p.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 3 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake hits Albay

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Albay on Thursday, Aug. 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 16 kilometers northwest of Rapu-rapu at 3:03 a.m. Depth of focus was one kilometer. An instrumental intensity II was felt in Legazpi City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Wednesday, Aug. 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 29 kilometers northeast of Bayabas at 6:12 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 24 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.4-magnitude quake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Tuesday, Aug. 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 51 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 11:30 a.m. Depth of focus of the quake was 123 kilometers. (Eagle News)–A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Cagayan on Tuesday, Aug. 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 16 kilometers southwest of Santa Praxedes at 6:51 a.m. Depth of focus was 23 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.0-magnitude quake jolts Davao Oriental

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 157 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 9:27 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 52 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
