3.0-magnitude quake hits N. Samar

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Northern Samar early Sunday, Aug. 18.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 77 kilometers northeast of Palapag at 5:09 a.m

Depth of focus was 13 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
