JUST IN: 4.0-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Wednesday, Aug. 21.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 133 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 8:02 a.m.

Depth of focus was 138 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
