In photos: A peek into the LRT Line 2 East Extension project

(Eagle News)–These pictures provided by the Department of Transportation show the Light Rail Transit Line 2 East Extension project. The project, which once completed will cut short to  40 minutes the commute from Antipolo, Rizal to Recto, Manila, has entered its final phase. The DOTr said the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.

DOTr: More than P500 million worth of fuel subsidy cards distributed since July 2018

(Eagle News)–More than P500 million worth of Pantawid Pasada cards have been distributed to beneficiaries so far, the Department of Transportation said. According to the DOTr, the P505,110,000 worth of fuel subsidy cards translated to 101,022 cards distributed to public utility jeepneys since July 2018. (Eagle News)—–Over P400 million worth of Pantawid Pasada fuel subsidy cards have been distributed to public utility jeepney franchise owners as of March, the Department of Transportation said. Construction of LRT-1 Cavite extension to start in April

(Eagle News)—The  construction of the Light Rail Transit 1 Cavite extension will start in April. The Department of Transportation made the announcement in a Facebook post on Monday, March 4. According to the DOTr, the 11.7-kilometer railway extension will link Baclaran to Bacoor.
