Department of Transportation to handle traffic management in Metro Manila

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) – The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is finalizing details in its plan to directly handle the management of traffic flow in Metro Manila. Transportation spokesperson Cherry Mercado said that the department already met with different government agencies like the Land Transportation Office (LTO), Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) for their suggestions in order to decongest the traffic flow in Metro Manila.
