(Eagle News) — A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Monday, April 26. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:21 a.m. It had its epicenter 37 kilometers northeast of Cateel. The earthquake’s depth of focus was 37 kilometers The following instrumental intensities were reported: Intensity I – Bislig City, Surigao del Sur No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Wednesday, Jan. 27. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:04 a.m. It had its epicenter 72 kilometers northeast of Baganga. Depth of focus was 16 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

3.9-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental early Thursday

(Eagle News) — A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Thursday, December 10. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 96 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 3:54 a.m. Depth of focus was 52 kilometers. The quake was of tectonic origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.  

4.0-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Wednesday, Oct. 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 11:43 a.m., had its epicenter 38 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso. It had a depth of 118 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.2-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Friday, June 26. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 2:05 p.m., had its epicenter 56 kilometers southeast of Manay. It had a depth of 12 kilometers. An instrumental intensity I was recorded in  Malungon in Sarangani. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

Magnitude 6.5 quake hits Davao Oriental

  (Eagle News) – A magnitude 6.5 quake struck waters southeast of Davao Oriental around 5 p.m. Thursday, June 4, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS). The tectonic quake had a depth of 177 kilometers and its epicenter was located at 437 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso in Davao Oriental.
