(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Friday, March 22. The quake hit nine kilometers southwest of Manay at 2:57 a.m. Depth of focus of the earthquake was 11 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were  expected.

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Thursday, March 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 59 kilometers northeast of Baganga at 2:03 a.m. Depth of focus of the earthquake, which was tectonic in origin, was 15 kilometers. No damage nor aftershocks were expected.  

4.1-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Wednesday, March 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 75 kilometers northeast of Baganga at 2:14 p.m. Depth of focus of the earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, was 34 kilometers. No damage nor aftershocks were expected.  

3.9-magnitude quake jolts Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake jolted Davao Oriental on Wednesday, March 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 51 kilometers east of Manay at 7:56 a.m. The quake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 21 kilometers. No damage nor aftershocks were expected.

At least 36 kilos of cocaine found off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–At least 36 kilograms of cocaine were found off Davao Oriental on Sunday, Feb. 24. The P200 million worth of illegal drugs was apart from the 34 kilograms of cocaine  found off Surigao del Sur on the same day. (Eagle News)—A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Thursday, Feb. 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 141 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 3:31 a.m. The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of nine kilometers. No damage nor aftershocks were expected.
