4.2-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Oriental early Wednesday

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Wednesday, Jan. 27.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:04 a.m.

It had its epicenter 72 kilometers northeast of Baganga.

Depth of focus was 16 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
