(Eagle News)-The bicameral committee has approved the sin tax bill that seeks to increase taxes on alcohol, heated tobacco products and vapor cigarettes. The bicameral approval came only hours after senators and congressmen sat down to reconcile the disagreeing provisions of the Senate- and House-approved versions. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 11 kilometers southwest of Kiblawan at 1:32 p.m. Depth of focus was 16 kilometers. The following instrumental intensities were recorded: Intensity III – Malungon, Sarangani Intensity II – Koronodal City, Tupi, South Cotabato, Kidapawan City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
