(Eagle News)-A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Davao del Sur on Wednesday, Dec 18.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 11 kilometers southwest of Kiblawan at 1:32 p.m.
Depth of focus was 16 kilometers.
The following instrumental intensities were recorded:
Intensity III – Malungon, Sarangani
Intensity II – Koronodal City, Tupi, South Cotabato, Kidapawan City
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
