PHL confirms 3246 COVID-19 cases

(Eagle News)–The number of coronavirus disease 2019 cases in the country has reached 3246. This was after the Department of Health recorded 152 other cases as of Sunday, April 5. There are 152 deaths so far, with eight new deaths, and 64 recoveries, with seven new others. President Rodrigo Duterte has imposed an enhanced community quarantine on Luzon to ensure the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

QC has 500 confirmed COVID-19 cases — DOH

(Eagle News)–Quezon City has recorded 500 coronavirus disease 2019 cases. The local government said based on Department of Health data, of the 500, 336 have been validated by the city’s epidemiology unit and district health offices. Fourteen have so far recovered and 34 have died. There are 93 patients under investigation and 420 patients under monitoring. The Philippines has so far recorded over 3000 COVID-19 cases.
