MIAA releases list of operational commercial flights for Friday, May 8

(Eagle News)–The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights. MIAA said the list was for Friday, May 8: Flight schedules may be subject to changes. Earlier, AirAsia, Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific canceled their flights until May 15 in view of the extended enhanced community quarantine in select areas. The Philippines has so far confirmed over 10000 COVID19 cases.  

4.0-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Friday, May 8. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 8:18 a.m., had its epicenter 431 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It had a depth of 33 kiometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
