(Eagle News)–A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur waters on Sunday night. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 10:09 p.m., had its epicenter 64 kilometers northeast of Bayabas. It had a depth of 15 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
