PNP COVID-19 cases reach 3380

(Eagle News)–Over 100 COVID-19 cases were reported among police personnel in one day. The Philippine National Police said as of Sunday, 6 p.m., the 104 additional cases brought the total to 3380. DOTr to require contactless transactions at tollways

(Eagle News)–The Department of Transportation will soon be requiring cashless or contactless transactions at tollways. In a statement, the DOTr said  Transportation Secretary Art Tugade has signed Department Order 2020-012, which directed concerned agencies of the DOTr  to formulate new processes and procedures within three  months to ensure the smooth implementation of the new policy. Over 16,500 COVID-19 recoveries bring down PHL active cases from nearly 70k to just over 55k

  (Eagle News) – COVID-19 recoveries added on Sunday, Aug. 23, reached 16,549 bringing down the total active cases from 69,362 to 55,236. This was one of the biggest single day jump in recoveries.
