The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Aurora is under an orange rainfall warning which means flooding and landslides are threatening. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 4:40 a.m., had its epicenter 93 kilometers northeast of Homonhon Island. It had a depth of 24 kilometers.
