DOH reports 5,828 additional COVID-19 cases; PHL tally now at 1,530,266

(Eagle News) — COVID-19 cases in the Philippines climbed to 1,530,266 after the Department of Health reported 5,828 additional cases. According to the DOH, of the total cases, 50562 were active. Of these, 92.7 percent were mild, 1.6 percent asymptomatic, 1.5 percent critical, 2.5 percent severe, and 1.74 percent were moderate. Customs bureau warns of phishing scam involving supposed delivery of new parcels

(Eagle News) — The Bureau of Customs has warned the public about a new parcel delivery scam that allows unscrupulous individuals to rob a victim’s personal details and money online. 35 quakes monitored in Taal in 24 hours
