MIAA releases list of operational commercial flights for Saturday, Aug. 28

(Eagle News)– The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights for Saturday, Aug. 28: Flight schedules may change at any given time. MIAA advised passengers to coordinate with their airlines prior to the scheduled travel. The flight ban on India and nine other countries has been extended. Metro Manila and other areas are  under a modified enhanced community quarantine until Aug. 31.

DOH reports 17,447 more COVID-19 cases

(Eagle News) — COVID-19 cases in the Philippines climbed to 1,916,461 after the Department of Health reported 17,447 more COVID-19 cases. According to DOH data, of the total cases, 142531 were active. Over 300 Filipinos repatriated from UAE this August: DFA
