3.0-magnitude earthquake jolts Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Monday, April 22. The quake, which was of tectonic origin, hit 66 kilometers southeast of General Luna at 4:31 p.m., the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. PHIVOLCS said the depth of focus of the quake was 13 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.  

3.2-magnitude quake hits Agusan del Sur

(Eagle News)—A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Agusan del Sur on Monday, April 22. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 4 kilometers southwest of San Luis at 9:31 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 52 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.1-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur early Sunday, April 21. The quake, which was of tectonic origin, hit 30 kilometers northeast of Cortes at 2:42 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 31 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks was recorded.

3.4-magnitude quake hits Eastern Samar

(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake hit Eastern Samar on Saturday, April 20. The quake, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said, struck 36 kilometers southeast of San Julian at 6:49 p.m. The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 19 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks was recorded.  

At least 14 rushed to hospital after reportedly inhaling excessive amount of chlorine while swimming in Bulacan resort pool

(Eagle News)–At least 14 people, mostly children, have been rushed to the hospital after they reportedly inhaled an excessive amount of chlorine while swimming in a pool in Pandi, Bulacan on Friday, April 19. (Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Friday, April 19. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 20 kilometers southwest of Governor Generoso at 3:08 p.m. The quake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 158 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 17 kilometers northwest of Sinait at 6:56 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 25 kilometers.
