4.4-magnitude quake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, April 25, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. PHIVOLCS said the quake hit 267 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 9:34 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 90 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

PNP: DNA samples from scissors used to kill Silawan match suspect’s
