48 more PNP personnel recover from COVID-19

(Eagle News)–Forty-eight more police personnel have recovered from COVID-19. The Philippine National Police said with the additional recoveries, the number of police recoveries rose to 6789. DFA: 37,095 overseas Filipinos repatriated in October

(Eagle News)–Over 37,000 overseas Filipinos were repatriated by the government in October. The Department of Foreign Affairs said with the 37,095, the number of Filipinos abroad repatriated amid the COVID-19 pandemic  now stands at 237,363. The DFA said of the  total, 77,326 or 32.58 percent were  sea-based while 160,037 or 67.42 percent were  land-based. MIAA releases list of operational commercial flights for Wednesday, Nov. 4

(Eagle News)–The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights for Wednesday, Nov. 4: Flight schedules may be subject to changes. COVID-19 cases in PHL reach 387,161; recoveries rise to 348,967

(Eagle News)–COVID-19 cases in the country breached the 387,000 mark on Tuesday, Nov. 3, after the Department of Health reported 1772 additional cases. The DOH said of the 387,161 total cases, 30876 or 8 percent were active. Of these, 82.5 percent were mild, 10 percent asymptomatic, 4.8 percent critical, and 2.7 percent severe. DOTr: MRT-3 trains now running at 50 kph, shorter travel time expected

DFA: No Filipino hurt in Vienna attack

(Eagle News)–No Filipino was hurt in a recent attack in Vienna, Austria that left at least one killed. DFA Executive Director for Strategic Communications Ivy Banzon-Abalos said this was based on a report from the Philippine Embassy in the Austrian capital last night. The shooting took place in six different locations and involved multiple gunmen. The attack prompted authorities to close down the capital for manhunt operations. At least 15 were also injured.

(Eagle News)–The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed an additional COVID-19 case among overseas Filipinos. With the additional case from the Asia Pacific region, the DFA said the total number of cases rose to 11245.
