4.1-magnitude quake hits Cagayan

(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Cagayan on Saturday, March 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:20 p.m. Its epicenter was 84 kilometers northwest of Calayan. The depth of focus was 25 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

LRT-2 operations suspended from March 28-31 to give way to train maintenance activities

(Eagle News)–Operations of the Light Rail Transit-2 are suspended from March 28 to 31 to pave the way for its annual maintenance activities. MRT-3 operations suspended from March 28 to 31

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 7:31 a.m. Its epicenter was 95 kilometers northeast of Cagwait. The depth of focus was 18 kilometers.
