3.6-magnitude quake hits Batangas early Wednesday, June 19

(Eagle News)–A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas early Wednesday, June 19. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 11 kilometers southwest of Calatagan at 2:29 a.m. The depth of focus was 174 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.  

3.0-magnitude quake hits Batangas

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas on Saturday, June 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 25 kilometers southeast of San Juan at 10:39 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 7 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.0-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental early Friday, June 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 5 kilometers northeast of Malita at 3:32 a.m. Depth of focus was 207 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.5-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Wednesday, June 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, struck 65 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 10:55 a.m. Depth of focus was 92 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

JUST IN: 3.5-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Tuesday, June 11. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 145 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 6:20 a.m. Depth of focus was 118 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded    

3.9-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental early Sunday, June 9. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 122 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 4:34 a.m. Depth of focus was 29 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.    

3.5-magnitude earthquake hits N. Samar on Thursday night

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Northern Samar on Thursday night. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 50 kilometers northwest of Pambujan at 10:15 p.m. Depth of focus is 21 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.0-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental early Monday, June 3. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin and an aftershock of the 6.2-magnitude offshore quake in the province on May 31,hit 65 kilometers southeast of General Generoso at 4:45 a.m. The depth of focus was 55 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.4-magnitude quake hits N. Samar

(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude  earthquake struck Northern Samar early Thursday, May 30. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 111 kilometers northeast of Palapag at 3:15 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 35 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.      

3.0-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Monday, May 27. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, struck 7 kilometers southeast of San Isidro at 8:47 a.m. The depth of focus was 4 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.0-magnitude earthquake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Friday, May 24. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 2 kilometers northwest of Mati at 5:46 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 25 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded from the earthquake, which was of tectonic origin.
