3.9-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental early Sunday, June 9.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 122 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 4:34 a.m.

Depth of focus was 29 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
