3.0-magnitude quake hits Batangas

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas on Saturday, June 15.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 25 kilometers southeast of San Juan at 10:39 a.m.

The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 7 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
