3.6-magnitude quake hits Batangas early Wednesday, June 19

(Eagle News)–A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas early Wednesday, June 19.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 11 kilometers southwest of Calatagan at 2:29 a.m.

The depth of focus was 174 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
