3.2-magnitude quake hits Aurora

(Eagle News)–A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Aurora on Saturday, May 18. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 8 kilometers southwest of Dilasag at 3:13 a.m. The quake, of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 16 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.6-magnitude quake hits Batangas

(Eagle News)–A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas on Friday, May 17. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 9 kilometers northwest of Calatagan at 8:01 a.m. It had a depth of focus of 187 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

3.0-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)—A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, May 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 339 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 8:48 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 82 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

3.0-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Wednesday, May 15. The quake, an aftershock of the 5.5-magnitude quake that hit the province on April 26, struck 67 kilometers southeast of General Luna at 10:30 a.m. The depth of focus was 17 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

4.2-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Monday, May 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 24 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 11:59 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 125 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.9-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake rocked Davao Oriental on Monday, May 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 83 kilometers southeast of General Generoso at 6:55 a.m. The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 17 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.0-magnitude quake hits Catanduanes

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Catanduanes on Sunday, May 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 24 kilometers southeast of Virac. The depth of focus of the quake was 49 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

4.1-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)—A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Saturday, May 11. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 64 kilometers southeast of Marihatag at 7:05 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 19 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.8-magnitude quake hits Eastern Samar

(Eagle News)—A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Eastern Samar on Friday, May 10. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, an aftershock of the 6.5-magnitude earthquake that hit the province on April 23, struck 16 kilometers northwest of San Julian at 4:19 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 64 kilometers, with intensity II felt in Borongan. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.2-magnitude quake hits Batangas

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas on Thursday, May 9. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 20 kilometers southwest of Calatagan at 11:39 a.m. The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 129 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.6-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)—A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Sunday, May 5. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 203 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 7:51 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 90 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.1-magnitude quake hits Bohol

(Eagle News)—A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Bohol on Thursday, May 2. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit five kilometers northeast of Catigbian at 10:57 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 20 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
