(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Northern Samar early Sunday, Aug. 18. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 77 kilometers northeast of Palapag at 5:09 a.m Depth of focus was 13 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.3-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental early Saturday, Aug. 17. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 278 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 3:51 a.m. Depth of focus was 70 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake hits Pangasinan

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Pangasinan early Friday, Aug. 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 31 kilometers northwest of Bolinao at 3:35 a.m. Depth of focus was 19 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

JUST IN: 3.1-magnitude quake jolts Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Thursday, Aug. 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 63 kilometers northeast of Burgos at 9:18 p.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 3 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake hits Albay

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Albay on Thursday, Aug. 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 16 kilometers northwest of Rapu-rapu at 3:03 a.m. Depth of focus was one kilometer. An instrumental intensity II was felt in Legazpi City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Wednesday, Aug. 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 29 kilometers northeast of Bayabas at 6:12 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 24 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.4-magnitude quake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Tuesday, Aug. 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 51 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 11:30 a.m. Depth of focus of the quake was 123 kilometers. (Eagle News)–A 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Monday, Aug. 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 35 kilometers southeast of Don Marcelino at 7:51 a.m. Depth of focus was 154 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.0-magnitude quake hits Occidental Mindoro

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Occidental Mindoro on Sunday, Aug. 11. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 27 kilometers southwest of Looc at 5:10 a.m. Depth of focus was 24 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.1-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Saturday, Aug. 10. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 76 kilometers northeast of General Luna at 3:43 p.m. Depth of focus was nine kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.2-magnitude quake hits Batanes

(Eagle News)–A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Batanes on Saturday, Aug. 10. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 35 kilometers southwest of Sabtang at 7:18 a.m. Depth of focus was 30 kilometers. An instrumental intensity I was felt in Basco. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.0-magnitude quake jolts Batanes

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Batanes on Friday, Aug. 9. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, an aftershock of the series of earthquakes in the province on July 27, hit 3 kilometers southwest of Itbayat at 10:51 a.m Depth of focus was 17 kilometers. An intensity III was felt in Itbayat, PHIVOLCS said. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
