JUST IN: 4.8-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Friday, Nov. 8. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 78 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 6:41 a.m. Depth of focus was 175 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

Mild 3.2-magnitude quake hits Cotabato

(Eagle News)–A mild 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Cotabato on Thursday, Nov. 7. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 18 kilometers southeast of Tulunan at 3:13 p.m. Depth of focus was 30 kilometers. The following intensity and instrumental intensities were recorded: Intensity: Intensity II – Kidapawan City Instrumental Intensities: Intensity III – Malungon, Sarangani Intensity II – Kidapawan City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Monday, Nov. 4. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 126 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 2:03 a.m. Depth of focus was 11 kilometers.
