(Eagle News) — A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Friday, Nov. 8.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 78 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 6:41 a.m.
Depth of focus was 175 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
