(Eagle News)–Another earthquake struck Cotabato in a span of only several days.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the 5.0-magnitude quake, of tectonic origin, hit 18 kilometers southeast of Makilala at 2:07 p.m.
Depth of focus was two kilometers.
The following intensities and instrumental intensities were recorded:

Intensity V – Magsaysay, Davao del Sur
Intensity IV – Pikit Cotabato; Bansalan, Davao del Sur
Intrumental Intensities:
Intensity III – Malungon, Sarangani; Koronadal City
Intensity II – Tupi, South Cotabato
Intensity I – Alabel, Sarangani
The earthquake took place only a day after a 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck the area, leaving several dead.
On Tuesday, another earthquake jolted Cotabato, with at least eight fatalities recorded.
