The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 2:58 a.m., had its epicenter 5 kilometers northwest of Pintuyan. It had a depth of focus of 33 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, Feb. 27. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 3:38 a.m., had its epicenter 417 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. Depth of focus was 92 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
