3.7-magnitude quake hits Southern Leyte

(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck Southern Leyte on Friday, Feb. 28.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 5:38 p.m., had its epicenter 11 kilometers southwest of Sogod.

It had a depth of focus of 1 kilometer.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
