The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 11 kilometers southwest of Kiblawan at 1:32 p.m. Depth of focus was 16 kilometers. (Eagle News)–Over 100 aftershocks were recorded as a result of the 6.9-magnitude quake that struck Davao del Sur on Sunday, Dec. 15.
