(Eagle News)–Over 100 aftershocks were recorded as a result of the 6.9-magnitude quake that struck Davao del Sur on Sunday, Dec. 15.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the 179 aftershocks were as of 6 p.m.
On Monday, aftershocks continue to be felt in the area, PHIVOLCS data showed.
The latest was a 3.4-magnitude one that hit 12 kilometers northwest of Magsaysay at 7:24 a.m.
Depth of focus was 3 kilometers.
An instrumental intensity I was felt in Kidapawan.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
