4.5-magnitude earthquake strikes off Sorsogon early Sunday, July 3

(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Sorsogon early Sunday, July 3. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 3:56 a.m. The epicenter was 18 kilometers northeast of Prieto Diaz. The depth of focus was 10 kilometers. An instrumental intensity II was felt in Legazpi City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
