DFA: 26 more overseas Filipinos contract COVID-19, eight more recoveries reported

(Eagle News) — Twenty-six additional COVID-19 cases were reported among overseas Filipinos, the Department of Foreign Affairs said. According to the DFA, the additional cases that brought the total  to 9959 were from Asia and the Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East. MIAA releases list of operational commercial flights for Thursday, Aug. 20

(Eagle News)–The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights for Thursday, Aug. 20: Flight schedules may be subject to changes. Metro Manila has been reclassified as a general community quarantine area, which means domestic flights are already allowed. The Bureau of Immigration has said restrictions on international travel remain unless removed by the government. Metro Manila is expected to remain a GCQ area until Aug. 31.
